24 Nov '22 Jammy & The Dodgers Brewhouse, Cardiff I love this gig! A lovely way to spend a Thursday night, if you're into hearing a really thoughtful collection of songs, executed by a properly talented trio of guitar, bass and drums. On Saturday pub gigs, you have to choose the obvious songs - but when it's a Thursday, we can dip into some different moods and play more what we feel - and it always goes down a treat!
25 Nov '22 Nancy Ackroyd (duo / deuawd) Hare & Hounds, Aberthin, Vale of Glamorgan A chance to hear the songs of a wonderful artist I became involved with in between lockdowns. Nancy Ackroyd is a sublime singer-songwriter based in The Vale of Glamorgan. Her debut album 'Written on the Inside' was recorded at the Roundhouse in 2020. Here's a chance to see her perform songs from the album, and from the next, which was recorded last month at The Roundhouse and will be released in the spring. *Beth Whelan on cello and vocals will not be at this concert, so instead of the usual trio, Nancy and I will perform as a duo. No tickets necessary - music at 9, but come early to get a spot in the bar!

2 Dec '22 Goose O’Neill’s, St Mary St, Cardiff A freestyle covers quartet under the charismatic leadership of Colum Regan. Friday night in December at Cardiff’s go-to pub-crawl kick-off venue? Not for the faint hearted, but if you can stomach the Christmas jumpers and gratuitous gyrating, you are pretty much guaranteed a good laff.
